Originally under the name 'Dinoblast' I decided to begin working on this passion project last year and have been working on it ever since, picking many skills related to field along the way, from sprite work in earlier versions of this project when its purpose was to be a DOOM clone, to learning 3D modelling and all of its aspects, modelling, UV mapping, texturing, shaders and some animation, as well as getting comfortable with foundational aspects of coding, making use of important parts of Object Orientated Programming, such as inheritance and composition, as well as important software development skills, through the iterative development of the project, just about all assets seen in this project were created by me.

For our VR module we each created a Scene for a different tourist location in Northern Ireland, I chose to do one based of off the Castle Espie wildlife reserve, or more specifically the limekiln observatory, which is an observatory made to view the wetlands that the wildlife reserve resides on, for this project I attempted to create an environment that while not 1 to 1, effectively evokes the original location, I used free assets from the unity store such as polytopia, and from poly.pizza much like my game development module project
VR Environment Overview
For my game development module I was required to make a prototype game on the Unity Engine, an Engine which I had little to no experience, its development spanned over October 2025 to January 2026, in which I had to learn how to make use of the engine and grapple with its differences to what I was familiar with in Godot, I decided to make a rough prototype based on horde survival games such as the Call Of Duty : Zombies gamemode, for this project, I made use of free assets I found on sites such as itch.io and poly.pizza, I was also required to create documentation and a Game Design Document
